The Westchester County Human Rights Commission (the Commission) investigates allegations of discrimination in housing, employment, public accommodations, and credit lending. While the Commission investigates covered complaints of discrimination based on citizenship status, alienage and national origin, it does not provide an administrative process for immigration-related matters such as asylum or deportation. In an effort to provide information about individual rights regarding encounters with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Commission has identified potential resources below.

Call the New York State Office of New Americans hotline at (800) 566-7636. As per its website, all call information is confidential, assistance is available in 200+ languages, and referrals are provided to free legal help and immigration-related programs.
